Macmillan Cancer Support

The Brainbox Group are incredibly proud to be working with Macmillan Cancer Support.

How did it come about...?

When we set the business up we wanted to do it in such a way that we could give back - to the people that attend our courses and society on the whole.

We are incredibly passionate about first aid training. It saves lives!!! We go to local schools and deliver first aid training to children as young as 7/8 completely free of charge.

But what about parents? Who teaches them how to look after children if they’re taken ill or injured? A lot of companies provide training for parents and carers - but they hike up the price because they know that you can’t put a price on a child’s life in an emergency. We don’t believe in this approach.

So we decided to raise money in a way that gives to the fantastic cause that is Macmillan Cancer Support and at the same times, gives to the person ‘donating’.

So how do we raise money...?

Our parents and carers course is only £20 per person and yet every penny from this course goes to Macmillan! This way parents and carers learn valuable life saving skills and the fee, which is a lot cheaper than other providers, goes to a great cause.

The rest of the public courses that we run we donate 10% of the fees to Macmillan.

On top of this we do various sponsored events such as the CPR Challenge - 24 hours of non stop CPR...!

If you would like to help us to support this brilliant cause then come along to one of our courses. Learn a valuable skill and donate at the same time! Or you can just click on our just giving page link and make a donation...

Make a difference to someone’s life. Save a life. Support Macmillan Cancer Support...
